In reply to Cragglez. The rider is the one named in the official sanction and the one that takes the consequences. But, of course, he would have no idea what ECU or software is in his bike unless it feels appreciably different to him at the controls. I am sure the team will still pay him for his points and apologise to him. They will all be gutted.

So, is the rider responsible for the software version ?
Or any other items on the bike that he/she hasn't personally fitted to the bike ?

If not, then why should the rider be named as "you were found to using…"
I reckon the team should be mmade to pay the rider a penalty fee to compensate them for
being personally named as the responsible one.

As far as HD's go, they ceased to have any resemblance to the essence of the bike with the start of the 8 valve "heat exchanger" equiped engines….
Engineering sounds into the engine to try to make it sound like a potato potato…. WTF….

Got a Honda 900 hornet & was looking at getting a smaller commuter as I got a road king for the longer kms, I've had the 900 for 16 yrs,I have looked & been in the dealership a few times but not having a demo to test ride I would ride before I buy in fear of it not having enough power on the highway,nice size commuter & clearly it rates well which I do like…time will tell..but great review & I like the style,colour,review & economy..
